Flowdock App Reviews

Very good app

Loved the app and the speed.

Useful for work

We use this at work for messaging. It doesnt always update right away if I read the message on another device. Otherwise it works as expected

Push notifications slow

Push notifications take far too long to arrive to mobile devices. Im using an iPhone 7+ with ample wifi connectivity and yet push notifications take minutes to arrive to my device. Your notifications really need work. My boss 1on1s me yet I dont get a notification on my ipad. I dont get it on my iphone. Hence I dont get it on my apple watch. Its only when I open the desktop app instead that I see I was messaged. So unreliable.

Push Notifications Broken!!!

Ive been using Flowdock for years at work. Its now almost worthless on a mobile device bc it doesnt reliably deliver push notifications directed at the user. This is crucial as its our main form of communication and I cant guarantee Ill be notified in a critical situation. Please resolve or we will have to look at other alternatives. (have verified notification settings)

UPDATE: No Push Notifications???????

Flowdock has been in need of an update for months. I have not been properly receiving notifications since October. I reviewed the app in the middle of November citing this concern and mysteriously began getting my push notifications again. That lasted about two weeks and I have not been getting them since. PLEASE FIX THIS APP, I USE IT FOR COMMUNICATING WITH COWORKERS.

Notification is a nice addition, where are threaded chat?

Nice job for this version. Notifications were something really expected for! When shall we see threaded chat support? Keep the good work! Cheers ;)

Totally useless

Flowdock constantly improves, i love this and couldnt live without it. The mobile web app has all the features of the desktop one, but still not stable ( frequent crashes ) . And here comes the native app ! No flow nor google authentication yet, but its stable, robust and efficient for team chat when youre on the road . Well done flowdock team !

finally, gmail is here !

Ive been waiting for a long time to be able to log in using google ! Its finally here. Good job ! Flowdock is absolutely excellent, and Im glad to be able to use the iPhone app now. The project events window is still missing : thatll be the fifth star for the next release :)

Really awesome

This version fully work, great job guys

Great for 1.0!

There is still some room for improvements but its great for a 1.0. :) /edit: really liked the last update with iOS6/iPhone5 support! Now go for push support :)

Great up but kindof simple

If you need to see the basic flowdock chat and see your mentions when youre afk, this is a fantastic app. If you want to see the code other people are pasting, search the chat, search the inbox, see different threads and comment on other peoples messages, youre out of luck because the app is still very basic. Hopefully it gets better in the future, for now Im just happy to see the chat channels and mentions in an app.

Cant log in

Sounds interesting but cant log in thru google so I havent been able to see its potential yet

Horrible app

Wont even open. Does nothing. Great online, but failed in the app.

Slow and clumsy

Performance could be a bit better. It needs an option of turning on/off notifications for separate flows, otherwise Im flooded with everything that comes.

Terrible

Been able to start it once or twice. From that time crashes on start. Reinstallation does not help. Simply terrible.

A good start

Very glad to see a native app, but right now its missing the two features that would make it significantly more useful than the webapp: team inbox access and push notifications. Hopefully theyre added in an upcoming release.

Great app for Flowdock users

If your team uses Flowdock this app is a must have! Access the most important chatter just by clicking an icon and stay on top of things.

Missing google/FB auth!

I actually think this is a nice app but when I first installed it I was incapable of logging in, as the app only allows ID/password login, not Google or Facebook authentication like the site. I had not configured an ID and password so I was S.O.L. until I got into the site from my laptop (the mobile site also hides the account settings page where this is configured) and created my native Flowdock credentials. Maybe this does not affect many users but its a glaring deficit to not support 2/3 of your supported use cases in the mobile app.

Decent start

Would like to be able to toggle between chat and inbox.

No push?

Its a good app. Pretty snappy and good access to chat, but without push notifications this is pretty useless.
